Winnipeg, June 30, 2003 -- The Shevchenko Foundation today announced the appointment of Mr. Michael Zienchuk, of Toronto, Ontario, as a member of the Foundation's Investment Committee.

"We welcome Michael to the Foundation and look forward to working with him as we continue to strengthen our support to the Ukrainian-Canadian community," said Foundation President Andrew Hladyshevsky, Q.C. "Michael brings to our work a solid reputation in the economic and financial field, which will be a tremendous asset as we build the Foundation for future generations."

"The work of the Shevchenko Foundation is an outstanding example of how people working together for a common purpose can make a solid contribution to the development of a community and a country," said Zienchuk.
